Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do pizzas arrive in good condition?
A: Mineo's Pizza House takes special care in the packaging and shipping of all of our orders. Each pizza is half-baked and frozen prior to the shipping date. The pizzas are then FedExed priority overnight and will arrive at the destination by noon on the following day.

Q: How far in advance do I need to place an order?
A: Give us at least 24 hours notice, to ensure the pizzas are in a deep frozen state before shipping.

Q: Can Pizzas be shipped for a Saturday or Sunday delivery?
A: We can ship pizzas on Friday for a Saturday delivery for an extra shipping cost. There are no deliveries on Sundays or Holidays.

Q: What is the proper care and handling after receiving my order?
A: Depending on the season and final destination, the pizza(s) will be thawing out throughout the shipping process. Unless you plan to cook them immediately upon arrival, it is best to store the pizza's in a refrigerator until you are ready to prepare them.

Q: How do I prepare the pizzas to eat?
A: Begin by preheating the oven to 450°. Remove the pizzas from their boxes and place them individually on a cookie sheet or pizza stone. Bake pizzas for 10-15 minutes, or until the desired look is achieved.

Q: Where can my order be delivered?
A: Your order can be delivered to a commercial or residential address in the United States as long as the correct shipping information is entered during the ordering process. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Q: What are the shipping rates?
A: Because we are dealing with perishable products, all shipping must be overnight priority to ensure a safe and enjoyable pizza. The cost of overnight priority shipping begins at about $30.00 and continues upwards depending on the weight and destination of the order.

Q: Are there alternative ordering options?
A: Yes. If you are located in the Pittsburgh area and wish to place an order in-person, please stop by either of our locations and place an order with a member of our staff.
