Our History
John Mineo
came to America in 1955 from a small town in Sicily near Palermo, Bagheria.
He aspired to make pizza and took a Squirrel Hill electric street car
and found an empty storefront on Murray Avenue for rent in 1958.
The rest is family history with three 3 generations.
Proudly family run & operated.
We choose to do business on a personal level.
We do our own marketing and emails.
We personally talk to our customers and business partners.
Our Dough is homemade from scratch on a daily basis.
Our Sauce is made from Italian tomatoes & hand seasoned.
Our Signature Cheeses are hand grated daily.
We hand grate imported Romano cheese.
Vegetables are hand cut daily.
Our Wedding Soup is made fresh from homemade stock & hand cut vegetables.
We hand pound & bread fresh chicken for our Chicken Parm & other dishes.
We oven bake our beef roasts and hand slice them.
We cook with love.xoxo
